Erica Snowden
Physiotherapist (Musculoskeletal + Pelvic Health)

Erica is a physio with vast experience and has a strong focus on orthopedics and perinatal care. She has worked across a wide range of physiotherapy settings, supporting clients from early adulthood through the childbearing years and beyond. This diverse background has allowed her to develop a broad, adaptable skill set that blends evidence-based orthopedic rehabilitation with patient centered perinatal support.

After completing her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2007 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2010, Erica gained extensive experience in orthopedic injury management, post-surgical rehabilitation, and return-to-sport programs. She is equally passionate about guiding clients through the physical demands of pregnancy and postpartum recovery, with advanced training in C-section rehabilitation, pre- and postnatal exercise rehabilitation (including diastasis recti management), and continence care.

Erica is a member of Physiotherapy New Zealand (PNZ) and the Pelvic, Men’s and Women’s Health Physiotherapy (PMWH) special interest group. She is also a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner, trained in Trigger Point Dry Needling, and has undertaken further women’s health training through the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA). A registered yoga teacher since 2017, Erica enjoys incorporating breathwork and mindful movement into orthopedic and perinatal rehabilitation to enhance recovery, mobility, and overall well being.

Trained in pelvic health physiotherapy since 2021, Erica combines her orthopedic expertise with perinatal care to help pregnant and postpartum clients stay active, manage pain, and return to the activities they love. She is dedicated to supporting people through every stage of the pregnancy journey—helping them prepare, adapt, and thrive well beyond the postpartum period.
